Service A / Service B
Mercedes-Benz maintenance alternates between Service A and Service B. Your vehicle’s maintenance display tells you which one is due.
Service A
First at about 10,000 miles or 1 year, then about every 20,000 miles or 2 years.

150 current-model-year loaners
Reserve a complimentary current-model-year Mercedes-Benz loaner when you schedule service. Here’s how it works and what to know before you pick it up.
How to reserve a loaner
- 1Schedule service and request a loaner. A valid appointment is required.
- 2Complete the online loaner verification before you arrive.
- 3At pickup, inspect the car with our loaner agent, note any existing damage and sign the loaner contract.
Our fleet rotates frequently, so we can’t guarantee a specific model.
Loaner policy at a glance
Who can drive
Only you, or immediate family members in your household who are listed on your insurance policy and are 21 or older. Additional drivers covered by your policy must present a valid driver’s license.
Verify online before you arrive
A valid service appointment is required. Complete the online loaner verification before you arrive: a valid credit card matching the name on your valid driver’s license, and an insurance policy with comprehensive and collision coverage.
Complimentary loaner
The loaner is complimentary. Charges such as damage, late fees, cleaning or insurance deductibles are deducted from the credit card attached to the loaner contract.
$5,000 deductible
Your insurance is primary. If we must use our policy, you are responsible for a $5,000 deductible, including tires, wheels and windshields. Note any pre-existing damage with the loaner agent before you sign.
No smoking, vaping or pets
Smoking, vaping or pet-related soiling incurs an immediate $300 cleaning fee.
Long Island only, 100 miles a day
Drive within the Long Island area, up to 100 miles per day; excess miles are $1.00 per mile. Return it with the same fuel level; loaners must not exceed 6,000 total miles. Need an exception? Ask your Service Advisor.
Return on time
Return it the same day you’re told your vehicle is ready (we close at 6 PM Monday–Friday and 4 PM Saturday) or by the next morning (we open at 7 AM Monday–Saturday). Late returns are $75 per day.
GPS tracked
Loaners are GPS tracked. We reserve the right to locate and repossess a vehicle that is not returned as agreed, and you may be liable for the associated costs.
No rideshare or delivery
Rideshare and delivery use is not covered under the insurance policy; any resulting personal liability is yours.
If you decline any of these policies, we may provide alternate transportation, subject to their qualifications. Factory warranty
New Mercedes-Benz passenger cars and SUVs come with a 4-year/50,000-mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty, whichever comes first, starting on the date of delivery. Covered warranty repairs are performed at no charge by our factory-trained technicians with Genuine Mercedes-Benz Parts. Sprinter vans have their own coverage terms.

Keep the coverage going after the factory warranty ends. New-vehicle Extended Warranty plans start at $3,100 for a 5-year/75,000-mile plan (A, CLA, GLA, GLB, C, GLC, SLC). Certified Pre-Owned Extended Warranty plans start at $2,640 for 1 year with unlimited miles. Prices are MSRP. Complimentary Roadside Assistance stays with you while you’re covered.
