Let me be clear: the only reason this place gets 2 stars
Let me be clear: the only reason this place gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because of Julian, who in my opinion is a good salesperson who did his best to help us. We came in seriously interested in purchasing one of the newer AMG models, but were told we could not test drive any of their AMGs due to concerns about depreciation from added mileage. That’s frankly absurd in my opinion - this is a dealership selling high-performance vehicles, not a museum. I might understand that logic for something like a Ferrari or Rolls-Royce, but a Mercedes? You’ve got to be kidding me. We made it clear that we would not purchase any vehicle without test driving it. Their response was that a test drive would only be allowed if we first sat down to discuss pricing. When I asked how that would somehow prevent “depreciation”, especially if we weren’t even planning to buy that specific AMG anyway, they couldn’t provide a coherent answer. It came across as a weak excuse to control the sales process rather than a legitimate policy. For comparison, the Mercedes dealership in Bayside, Queens had no issue allowing AMG test drives, so this is clearly not a brand-wide policy, but rather a specific policy of this location. We then asked to speak with a manager to better understand the reasoning. The manager literally came out but chose to ignore us after standing behind us for a few minutes. To me, this level of disregard for serious potential buyers is completely unacceptable. If this is how they treat customers before a sale, I can only imagine what happens afterward. The absolute best buying experience. I went to 4 different dealerships that promised to work with me and allowed me to use my own financing. Only to find out it was a lie ,but then I went to Mercedes of Rockville, not only was the buying experience flawless but they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my new E 350 Keri was on top of everything, constant communication and updates, no lies no games , took my financing institution, work with them and I just had to come sign the paperwork and take my car. Keri and Nick went the extra mile when I received my car I couldn't believe how easy they made everything. I will definitely comeback to buy my next car here and the one after that. My husband and I walked into the dealership and we were greeted very warmly. We asked to see the certified pre-owned cars and were introduced to Allen Jackson. Allen is, by far, the best car salesperson we've ever encountered. He was easy going and pleasant. I abhor the type of salesperson that pressures you or rushes you and Allen does none of this. We purchased a car and Allen walked us through the entire process. He even checked in the day after we picked up the car to make sure everything went well. The finance manager, Jerone, worked hard for us to make sure we received the best loan rate. Picking up the car was an amazing experience. Shagen took his time and showed us everything we needed to know about the car to get us started. Based on this experience, I think I'm a Mercedes Benz owner for life. Thank you.
